MORONG, Rizal—The Provincial Science & Technology Center-Rizal of the Department of Science and Technology CALABARZON, Philippine Foundation for Science and Technology (PFST) and DepEd-Rizal opened Mobile Science in Tomas Claudio Memorial Elementary School on January 22 here.

The Mobile Science is a traveling exhibition of the Philippine Science Centrum (PSC), the first interactive science centrum-museum in the country.  It offers a selection of interactive hands-on exhibits that promote a better grasp of science and technology concepts aligned with Dep-Ed's K-12.

The month-long interactive exhibition is presented in several ways that students will enjoy including 29 modules in mobile communication.

To be showcased in two separate venues, the opening program was conducted earlier in Tomas Claudio Memorial Elementary School, which will be shown to public until February 9. It will then be transferred to San Jose Central School in San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal on February 12 until March 2.

All private and public schools are encouraged to visit Science Mobile. Gates are open from 8 AM to 5 PM during weekdays and by appointment during Saturdays with an entrance fee of P50 for students.

Since 2008, DOST-Rizal has been promoting a total of seven sets of travelling exhibitions including Adventures in Discovery (AID), Sci-Fun Caravan (SFC), Science On the Move (SOM), Science Works (SW!), Science Sparks! (SS!), Health Science on the Go! (HSOG!) and Mobile Science as the latest offering.
