I have been a fan of the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm for the past 2 years. The ACO is a metaheuristic algorithm that can be used various hard problems in computer science , such as the Traveling Salesman Problem. The principle behind the ACO is based on how ants organize themselves when they are traveling. Ants actually produces a chemical called Pheromones, and the small of this chemical attracts other ants to follow.  I've been using this algorithm for sometime already, and I belive that the algorithm can be use some of the pressing issue in our times. I am proposing to use the ACO as a way to model flooding in the country.
