Eight clusters of coffee-based enterprises in Lubuagan operated by the Antonio Canao Multi-Purpose Cooperative were covered by the project.
The project provided consultancy services to Consultancy for Agriculture Productivity Enhancement (CAPE) beneficiaries; institutionalize effective farm management strategies including transfer and commercialization of appropriate technologies and improve agriculture and aquaculture activity.
It aims to improve productivity by not less than 35 percent of the previous cropping cycle and increase income of the farmers through CAPE interventions and increase employment opportunities through the livelihood generated by the increased production of various commodities.
Catacutan said the project undertook productivity studies, and expanded coverage of CAPE program assistance in terms of area and agriculture crops covered. (ALT/PAB-PIA CAR, Kalinga)
