DOST to hold Metalworking Technologies forum in Bukidnon

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Nov. 7 - To promote the equity and growth in Bukidnon, the Department of Science and Technology-region 10 (DOST-10) and the Metals and Industry Research and Development Center (MIDRC) will host a Metalworking Technologies Forum on November 12 at Hotel de Susana, Valencia, Bukidnon.

The forum will include equipment for Cacao and Coconut Water Processing, equipment in DOSTís Food Innovation Center, and equipment in MIRDCís Advance Manufacturing Center.

These topics will be discussed by the experts from MIRDC and DA - Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (Philmec).

The Metalworking Technologies Forum is envisioned as an avenue for technology adopters, entrepreneurs and livelihood beneficiaries to adopt potential, new, and innovative technologies for value-adding of fresh produce towards the development of processed products that will effectively compete for both in the local and global markets.
