Nanyang Polytechnic, AiTECH sign technical exchange programs agreement
Monday, November 18, 2019 12:00 AM Views : 199Neil A. AlcoberThe Antipolo Institute of Technology (AiTECH) and the Nanyang Polytechnic of Singapore signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to further boost the “innovation and entrepreneurship” technical knowledge and skills of AiTECH scholars.
Antipolo City Mayor Andrea “Andeng” Ynares and Nanyang Polytechnic of Singapore director Yang Tien signed the MoU last 26 October at the Antipolo City Hall.
AiTECH is the first city college in the Philippines and in Asia which offers a course on Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering.
The city-run higher education institution is one of the partner schools chosen by the Nanyang Polytechnic of Singapore for the technical exchange programs including the University of the Philippines Diliman and the main campus of Philippine Science High School in Quezon City.
Nanyang Polytechnic of Singapore is known for its engineering, information technology, design, interactive and digital media, chemical and life sciences, business management and health sciences.
This is also the first partnership of AiTECH with an international education institution.
said she is confident that having this kind of partnerships with local and international educational institutions would surely help AiTECH scholars to become world-class engineers.
AiTECH also received recognition from the Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
