Matthis Brinkhausofthe Renewables Academy of Germany shows a scale model of a wind turbine to set the tone for his talk on wind power spatial planning technique during the Southeast Asia Regional Training Programme on Renewable Energy Resource Assessment and Mapping. The training program was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology’s Technology Application and Promotion Institute, DOST Regional Office 11 and the Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific at the Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City. Experts on renewable energy from various countries in Southeast Asia shared their experiences to help pushthe region’s capabilities and ultimately create a regional experts pool on renewable energy.
