Tarlac entrepreneurs benefit from DOST assistance program Posted: Monday, March 02, 2020 TARLAC CITY, Feb. 28 (PIA) -- Tarlac entrepreneurs benefitted from the PhP8.8 million worth of assistance under the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) of Department of Science and Technology (DOST). DOST Provincial Director Karen Yañgo-Dañez said the beneficiaries were given equipment, machineries and other interventions designed to improve their quality and overall productivity.

MAGALANG, Pampanga Three research and development (R&D) centers on Tamarind, Sweetpotato, and Potato will be established under the Niche Centers in the Regions for Research and Development (NICER) Program.
The Tamarind R&D Center will be established in Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU), the Potato R&D Center at the Benguet State University (BSU), and the Sweetpotato R&D Center at the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU).
