DOST wants intensified commercialization of developed products, technologies

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Department of Science and Technology (DOST) secretary Fortunato de la Peña is set on the goal of intensifying the commercialization of DOST-developed products and technologies in 2020. De la Peña enumerated some of the agency's areas of accomplishments that he wants to fully commercialize this year ranging from health and medicine, agriculture, and mass transportation. Foremost in the agenda are the 18 active ingredients discovered in local plants for developments as nutraceuticals and drugs through the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD)'s Tuklas Lunas Program.
